About Donna

nlalor-photography-2016-12-13-cheung-eldredge-family-16Hello there and thanks for stopping by!  My name is Donna, I’m a wedding photographer based in Greenwich, Connecticut.  I’ve had my passion for photography for as long as I could remember but to be honest, I never envisioned I would be a wedding photographer. It wasn’t until nearly 7 years ago after my first daughter was born when I assisted a friend at a wedding that something completely clicked in me. This is my calling and what I was meant to do.  It’s such an incredible honor to be given the opportunity to document one of the most important and happiest days of a person’s lifetime and just to know that the images that I produce would continue to remind generations of such a beautiful moment in time is beyond words. Everything about the wedding day excites and inspires me.  The beauty, the spontaneity, the emotions, and most of all the love.   With every wedding, I strive to tell a story, to capture and encapsulate the moments that will bring back the memories of the day for many years and generations to come.

A little bit about my personal life:  My favorite pass time is spending time with my family.  My 2 little girls, while often rambunctious and rowdy are my absolute world! Starbucks coffee and hot bowls of Pho noodle soup are my downfall. I’m a huge fan of crime dramas – if there’s a good show on TV, I’ve probably already watched the whole series.  My husband and I are big foodies! We love trying new restaurants and foods from all different cultures.

Take a cruise through my website and if my work resonates with you, reach out at donna@donnacheung.com! I’d love to get to know you and hear more about your wedding day plans.
