With wedding season winding down, I finally had the chance to work on my boudoir portfolio this fall. I quickly discovered that next to weddings and engagement sessions, boudoir DEFINITELY tops my list of favorites to shoot! It’s so much fun not only for me as a photographer but for my subjects – Who doesn’t love getting pampered and done up with hair and makeup for a day to feel like a super model in front of the camera! Every woman should have an opportunity to let down their hair for a bit, to celebrate their femininity and beauty and maybe even let their inner vixen come out to play! Many brides ask about boudoir sessions as a special gift for their husbands-to-be but it really can be something fun to do at anytime for your significant other – or even just something for your self.
I absolutely loved photographing Aja’s boudoir! Seriously – tell me this girl doesn’t look like she just walked out of a Victoria’s Secret catalog! I loved her dramatic transformation from girl next door to va va voom sexy chic!
