While most of the weddings I photograph are in central or northern Connecticut, I love photographing close to home every once in awhile too. There’s so many hidden gems in lower Fairfield County as far as wedding venue goes. Whether you’re looking for a mansion/estate wedding like the Darien Meadowlands or Waveny Mansion, a place by the water like the Inn at Longshore, or a more intimate setting like the Stamford Nature Center, Southern CT has it all! Ashley & Bryan got married at the beautiful Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford, CT. The property was absolutely stunning and so perfect for what the pair had envisioned for their wedding day. It was an ultra laid back affair with their beautiful ceremony taking place in the gardens of the arboretum. Friends and family enjoyed a extended cocktail hour with homemade craft beers and outdoor games followed by a evening of great food and dancing underneath the stars. A simply beautiful celebration!
